My husband and I have been making this slow cooker meal for a while now. I've tried a couple different ways of making beef and potatoes and this is definitely the most delicious. Well, let's just get right to it:
Ingredients:
1 small bag of baby carrots
2.5 lb bag of Honey Gold Potatoes
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 packet of dry onion soup mix
1.5 lbs of stew beef
Directions:
Layer the baby carrots on bottom, then the potatoes, and then the meet. Now pour the onion soup mix on top of everything. Then pour the mushroom soup and one can of water over top. Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
I hope you enjoy your meal as much as we do!

Recipe: Slow Cooker Chili
My husband has been craving chili lately, especially since it's been so cold so I thought I would try my hand at making some. I've never made chili before so I did some research online. Basically, what I learned is that you can put almost anything in chili. I mean, as long as you have a tomato-based sauce and some chili powder, anything else that you add is pretty much up to you. I personally think my chili turned out pretty good. Give it a try.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
¾ white onion, chopped
30 oz tomato sauce
6 oz tomato paste
2 tsp Chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
31 oz canned red beans
½ tsp cinnamon
2 medium celery stalks, ¼-inch slices
¼ white onion, finely chopped, if desired
shredded cheddar cheese, if desired
Steps:
1. Brown the ground beef. Strain. Put in slow cooker.
2. Mix the ¾ white onion, tomato sauce, tomato paste, chili powder, garlic powder, red beans, cinnamon, and celery stalks in the slow cooker and turn it on low.
3. Let it cook for 6-8 hours.
4. Place in a bowl and top with finely chopped onions and shredded cheddar cheese to serve.
What do you put in your chili?

Recipe: Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup
Just so you all know, I LOVE my 'soups' very thick. I don't like it at all runny so if you aren't a fan of the really thick soups, you can always half the amount of noodles. Also, if you're wanting a recipe that is going to take you no time at all in the morning, you should cook your chicken and cut up your vegetables the night before. I really like this recipe. It's pretty easy and it's absolutely delicious. Just imagine coming home on a cold winter's evening to a home that smells DELICIOUS and a nice warm dinner. It's fantastic.
Ingredients:
6 cups chicken broth
10.75 oz can cream of chicken soup
½ cup chopped onions
½ cup chopped celery
½ cup chopped carrots
16 oz can whole kernel corn, drained
1 bag egg noodles
<--(This is the kind that I bought)
3 medium pieces cooked chicken, chopped
Steps:
1. Mix everything together in the slow cooker.
2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, stirring occasionally.
To be honest, it probably doesn't take this long to cook, but it doesn't hurt anything to leave it in there for that long.
