...the perfect house, the perfect husband, the perfect son, the perfect dog, and you...the perfect you. You can cook, clean, craft, photograph, and pretty much do anything better than anyone else. That's the dream, huh? I have news for you. I love living in my imperfect world.

Myrtle Beach Vacation 2013: Alligator Adventure
Date Visited: November 9th, 2013
When we got there, we were greeted by quite a few turtles out front. When you buy a ticket, the woman tells you that you can get a 2nd day for free on your way out if you want which is nice since tickets are $19.99/person. There are TONS of alligators (as there should be). There are small ones, big ones, HUGE ones, white ones, Asian ones, etc. They also have a bunch of other animals including bats, lemurs, a snake house, crocodiles, and a whole bunch of other animals. They even had kangaroos and wolves while we were there. Plus, there were tons of turtles (most of them in other exhibits with the alligators and crocodiles, it seemed). There were also cages with birds randomly placed around which includes kookaburras, owls, and multiple other types. A little while after we got there, there was a lemur feeding. We started to watch, but there wasn't a lot of room to see and the windows were pretty fogged up so even if you did have a prime place up front, you wouldn't be able to see perfectly so we left about 5 minutes in. My favorite part of our visit was the alligator show. I think they do this during the colder months instead of the alligator feedings, since alligators don't eat during the cold months (I think). They had a bunch of baby alligators and the guy that did the show caught one, wrapped it's mouth (so that it couldn't bite him or anyone else), and then told us all about alligators. He also brought the alligator out so that everyone could touch it if they wanted to. Be warned though, you can only touch the alligator if you're sitting in the first 2 rows. He even came around a second time to let people touch the alligator again. Then, after he was done with his 'presentation', he waited around so that anyone that wanted to could come up, touch the alligator, take some pictures, and ask questions. You could easily spend all day there or you could power through it like we did and see almost everything in about 2 hours. Then, they have a very nice gift shop that you can visit on your way out. Overall, a great place to visit.
