We paid our $1/person (we didn't have to pay for the 3-year-old in our group) and walked down the pier. The views are amazing and at sunset, we still saw a very nice pink sky toward the southwest. When you look in the other direction, you can see the Myrtle Beach shoreline all lit up including the SkyWheel. It's pretty relaxing and very nice looking. There were a lot of people fishing though (which if you're not a huge fan of dead fish, might turn you off a bit). We were planning on eating at the restaurant here, but they were hosting a wedding reception so the restaurant was closed.
