How To: Easy Closet Shelf

I had my husband cut me some wood so that I could build the most simple shelf in the world. It worked out perfectly for what I needed. I bought 1-in x 12-in x 72-in board at Lowe's for $12. I had my husband cut a piece that was just a hair shorter than the width of my son's closet. Then, the remaining board was cut in half. Then, I screwed the 2 smaller pieces to the side walls in the back corners. Then I took the large piece, placed it on top of the 2 smaller boards and made a shelf by using screws to attach it to the smaller boards. Done!
